I wrote my music with the intention to describe all my life.Into it everyone can find all experiences and emotions wich I lived. I am very happy of this my sincere musical and personal diary. Sometime in the life it is necessary to live in a false way our interpersonal relations, all this to serenely live our life but projecting a different imagine of us. In the music I have been sincere showing to my self and other persons my real nature. Sometime in the life it is necessary to live in a false way our interpersonal relations, all this to serenely live our life but projecting a different imagine of us. In the music I have been sincere showing to my self and other persons my real nature. It is a great mystery where the music borns but certainly it is in the depth of our heart like the fire of a vulcano that at the just moment to forcefully goes out showing itself in a wonderful scene. When I had the just musical inspiration I felt myself in a different way, like who is writing from dictation and in this way my pen didn’t work hard to realize every score and when I listened to my scores after much time I had the sensation not to be the Author of this music. Sometime writing my compositions the inspiration suddendly stopped itself so I had to wait for a much time before continuing them with a new one. Often I composed my pieces improvising them on the organ or piano in the semidarkness of my room or sitting in front the computer hearing every sound into my mind. Often my compositions borned and were realizated in a very short time. When I played my music in public concerts I heart many positive opinions about of it and all persons sayed me that my music has been written with the heart.I have been very happy of this important judge but I think that my music depicts the life of a normal man and all persons recipt themself into it.
Writing my music I had different way to express my thoughts and often with confliting emotions because they are the mirror of my life. For this reason an “Allegro” can show a sad moment of my life and an “Adagio” an happy moment of it. My life have been self-contradictory and my music is the same thing with a perfect symbiosis.I was very surprise when knew that my colleagues were playng my music, a great and significative sign of estimation and confidence toward me. My musical style is various from the Church to jazz music because I lived an intense musical life full of different experiences.All this converged into a personal compositive style.So my musical style results multivalent and some my music can to be used for different obiects like Church music, or a song or like background for films. My pieces are limited to chamber music because to orchestrate a music it is necessary to have other musical qualities and a particular inclination and interest.My professional activity like organist with the Symphonic Orchestra of Cagliari learnt me many things about all various instruments like their expressive qualities and combinations. For the organ I wrote music with an innovative spirit.After many siecles the instrument can have an own life not with an exclusive connection with the Church but also in order to concert’s hall with a more independent role. If it is true that the organ was considerated the mediator between sky and earth now it can breath a new air just like with all others instruments.I think that the organ with an innovative and profane repertory can attain a new listening time also for the not – believing. In order to the tecnichal difficulty my music is accessible for organists who have normal musical qualities and not only for virtuoso musicians.In this way my music became popular. In addition to this I think that the excessive tecnichal difficult can oscured the authentic significate of the music and prevents the understanding. Bach only was successful writing complicate, brilliant musical ideas but the final result was very clear and simple like only the genius can do!A tipycal example are six Trio Sonate .Listening to them you have the sensation of easy music while their realizations is very complicate. But his music is not authoritative. At the contrary with my music organistes have the possibility to use many colours of instrument’s stops with different and frequent changements. In my music is present a normal technique and the search of many colours. Organistes can play my music on a great or small instruments without serious problems.With small instrument it will be necessary use more free combinations.
In addition to my original compositions I realized different and interesting transcriptions specially for viola and organ and flute and organ. All these operas are dedicated to my sons Giovanni and Daniele.
I thank very much all musicians who played my music and in a particular way my dear friend Hans Uwe Hielscher organist at. Wiesbaden’s Cathedral a splendid player of my organ’s operas around the world because he believed on it. Listen to my music is like to read the book of my life and in this way all everyone really can know me. To 2 particular instruments I dedicated much attention because I have two my sons who are continuing the musical tradition of my family playing viola (Giovanni) and Daniele (flute). With them I appreciated these instruments and I played my compositions around the world and they were my better players. Operas for 2 pianos and piano for 4 hands are dedicated to my wife Fiorella.They signed our young musical activity both us like pianists. I cannot forget who helped me when I studied compositions and that completed my musical personality like my unforgettable Maestro Armando Renzi. In this musical universe, much various about of different styles, you probably will find a place where you will are able to feel this music like your music. If it is so it will signify that I realized my desire to all persons serenity, happiness and enjoyment. Music was the leit-motiv of all my life and it didn’t betray me but was a silent help into difficulties wich I lived. It was a wonderful surprise in addition to have a musical family, a great gift of God and it He changed my life with many satisfactions giving me the possibility to continue this route in the next future with my sons also if with 2 different instruments.
